虽然Ubuntu预装Empathy，但是我还是会选择装Pidgin。
这次介绍的插件是能够使得Pidgin的未读信息数显示在Unity Launcher上面。

安装：
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jfi/pidgin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pidgin-libnotify
无须激活，直接使用
